The reality star — dressed in a white tank top, tight black pants, and pink sneakers — first stopped at Barry's Boot Camp for some serious exercise, and then later refueled with lunch at a nearby Baja Fresh restaurant. "Just killed it in bootcamp!" Kardashian, 31, tweeted afterward. "I have the best days when I start it with a good workout!" — and a ride around town in that super-cool car, no doubt.

Tortured Afghan teen on attackers: 'The same should be done to them'

(CNN) -- Last year, people around the world were outraged when they heard the story of Sahar Gul.
The Afghan teen was married off at 13. She said her husband, a member of the Afghan Army, raped her. Enraged because she didn't immediately get pregnant, her in-laws locked her in a basement for months, torturing her with hot pokers and ripping out her nails. Ultimately, she said, they wanted to force her into prostitution as punishment for failing her obligation as a woman.
"They told me to go to the basement because there were some guests coming to the house," she told CNN. "When I went there they came in and tied my hands and feet and pulled me upwards from above. They brought very little food for me.
"While going to the bathroom they used to beat me a lot. I was crying all this time," she said. "When they put electric shocks on my feet, I felt like I was going to die at that moment. I screamed and that's how our neighbors realized there was something happening. For one day and night I was unconscious, feeling dead."
Neighbors heard her cries and called authorities, who rescued the teenager in December.
Last weekend, Gul, now 14, trembled as she stood in court and listened to a Kabul judge hand down sentences to three of her attackers.
They each got 10 years. Her husband is still being sought.
They hurt my eyes and pulled out my nail and hair, and the same should be done to them
Sahar Gul
"Ten years is not enough. They should have been given 50 years," the teenager told CNN journalists, who visited her recently in an Afghanistan safe house where more than a dozen other women are being counseled after experiencing horrific treatment.
"They should be punished in the prison. They hurt my eyes and pulled out my nail and hair, and the same should be done to them. whatever they did to me, the same should be done to them," she said.

No need to panic over European elections

Suddenly, Europe is talking about growth and not just austerity.
The French and the Greeks have followed voters in a series of other European countries in rejecting a pro-austerity government. The Greeks just denied their ruling parties a majority vote in the parliamentary elections, throwing into question the country's commitment to structural and fiscal reform. And the French elected Francois Hollande, who will be France's first Socialist president in 17 years.
America has a large stake in European prosperity. Twenty-two percent of U.S. exports are sent to Europe and the two economies are stitched together with cross-border investments, interdependent capital markets and a shared view of global economic governance. Our mutual dependence has grown to the point that when either economy catches cold the other one risks more than a mild sniffle.
Kent H. Hughes
The European elections add a degree of uncertainty for American companies thinking about investing in slow growth economies. But the impact is likely to be short-lived. As Europe goes through the process of finding a way to combine some growth with long-term deficit reduction, U.S. exports are likely to suffer.
As expected, the Hollande victory and the political upheaval in Greece triggered strong reaction from markets around the world. European banks that have been harboring reserves are likely to be even more cautious going forward. And again, there is talk of Greece having to leave the eurozone.

First Photos of Lindsay Lohan on ‘Glee’

She may have had some difficulty getting to the set on time, but Lindsay Lohan managed to pull off her guest appearance on "Glee" — and now stills from the episode have been released. Although fans don't get to see her interact with any of the show's stars, the actress is shown in a scene with Rex Lee, who like Lohan, portrays himself in the May 15 episode. The two actors, along with gossip blogger Perez Hilton, star as judges at Nationals, where the kids from the McKinley High show choir are taking on their nemesis Vocal Adrenaline. "Glee was fun to do!" Lohan tweeted on Monday. "It made me want to live in a world of musicals where people always just burst out into song & dance!"
But Lohan's time spent filming the brief appearance wasn't so whimsical. On April 25, she was three hours late to the set and only arrived after producers sent a car to go pick her up from the Chateau Marmont. Once onset, the actress -- who had been partying in Hollywood the night before -- "was a total nightmare," a "Glee" source told E! Online. "She just didn't want to be there. She did not want to work. She had not memorized her lines, and she kept disappearing so no one could find her."

Of course, Lohan had an excuse for her behavior … she just blamed the show's producers for the "misunderstanding." Her spokesperson, Steve Honig, said: "The production team came to us and said that they wanted to start [with Lindsay] right after lunch, which was at 2. They wanted to begin with Lindsay at 3, so that meant she had a lot of time where she wasn't doing anything. That's why people didn't see her. She was then in hair and makeup and began after lunch at 3. If there was a problem yesterday, I would have just said 'no comment,' however I can't ignore this because this is utter B.S. This is a classic example of people trying to bash Lindsay."
In the people's defense, she does consistently give us good reasons.

Model, billionaire settle NYC child support fight

In the midst of a trial that brought tales of the high life and high fashion to family court, supermodel Linda Evangelista and a billionaire French businessman have reached an agreement to end their child support fight, their lawyers said Monday.Evangelista, Francois-Henri Pinault and their attorneys were mum about the details, which they planned to give to a magistrate on Tuesday.
"Everybody is very glad that it's over," Pinault lawyer David Aronson said.
The settlement came in the midst of a trial over how much, if anything, Pinault should pay toward the care of their 5-year-old son. Pinault is the CEO of a company that owns Gucci, Yves St. Laurent and other top-flight fashion lines; he's now married to actress Salma Hayek.
Both Pinault and Evangelista had testified at the trial, answering questions that delved into her career, his high-flying finances and his limited relationship with the boy. Evangelista had been due to continue testifying Monday.
The two sides negotiated all weekend and into Monday morning, according to a person familiar with the negotiations. The person spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the private talks.
In legal papers, Evangelista had said she was spending $46,000 a month on armed bodyguards, a 24-hour-a-day nanny and other expenses for the boy, Augustin, nicknamed Augie. He was born in 2006 after a four-month relationship; Pinault said he and Evangelista spent only about seven days together in all.
Evangelista's lawyer said she willingly paid all the child's expenses at first, but she now needs some help. While Evangelista — who once quipped that supermodels "don't wake up for less than $10,000 a day" — testified that she still can command about $100,000 to walk a runway, attorney William Beslow said her roughly $1.8 million-a-year income sank last year because a major contract with L'Oreal ended.
"Ms. Evangelista is not looking to piggyback the lifestyle of Mr. Pinault," Beslow said in an opening statement last week. He said she wasn't asking for any particular amount.
As part of the family behind luxury-brands conglomerate PPR, Pinault makes about $4 million a year, and Forbes estimates his family's net worth at $13 billion. He wears a $100,000 watch, dropped about $52,000 on a 12-day vacation to Bora Bora and bought himself about $62,000 in clothes in a single year, according to his testimony.
Pinault, who has a 4-year-old daughter with Hayek and two other children from a previous marriage, legally recognized Augie as his son in 2007. Pinault said Evangelista asked for what he considered an unreasonable amount of child support, he countered with another offer, and he didn't get a response for years. She went to court in 2010.
"We are not going to claim that he cannot pay a fair and reasonable child support," Aronson said in an opening statement. But $46,000 a month, he said, would be "just ridiculous."
That would indeed be high, even for New York, though there have been some other big-money child support cases here. Rap impresario Sean "Diddy" Combs was ordered in 2005 to pay about $19,000 a month in support, and Revlon Inc. Chairman Ronald Perelman was ordered in 1999 to pay more than $12,000 a month.

The Voice’ Finale: Christina Aguilera & Adam Levine Fight Over ’99 Problems’

Christina Aguilera was reportedly furious Adam Levine had Tony Lucca sing ’99 Problems’ because she thought he was referring to her as the girl who was the problem — and subsequently tensions ran HIGH on ‘The Voice’ finale May 7!

It’s a good thing this season of The Voice is almost over, because Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine were about to wring each other’s throats during the finale performances May 7.
During rehearsals for the show, Christina reportedly was upset Adam had Tony Lucca sing “99 Problems” because she thought the lyrics “99 problems, but a b**ch ain’t one” were in reference to her. She flipped out and then Adam reportedly called her the c-word. The fight was so nasty, producers supposedly weren’t sure how the show would go on…
…But it did, and we watched it play out live. After Tony’s flawless performance, Christina simply said, “I thought you sounded great.”
Adam turned to Christina and said, “We’re not referring to ‘girl’ problems. It’s a metaphor.” The cocky judge then took off his coat to reveal a “Team XTina” shirt, which was meant to make amends.
However, it didn’t appear Christina accepted Adam’s apology, because when he sang his duet with Tony later in the show, she was nowhere to be seen. Clearly, she was taking a stand against Adam and his contestant.
The best moment was when Ceelo Green revealed his shirt, which said “No problems”! He joked that he had “no drama” with his contestant, Juliet Simms.
In the battle of Christina versus Adam, on whose side are YOU?
